Why it matters
Guest Calls Often Arrive When Teams Are Serving Guests
Front-desk and operations teams need to focus on guests in front of them while calls keep coming in. A configured phone workflow can provide a consistent first response and a clear handoff path.
Calls and in-person service compete
When the front desk is busy, answering the phone can interrupt the guest experience already underway.
Questions range from simple to urgent
Availability, amenities, directions, and guest support may need different responses or escalation routes.
Properties have their own processes
The appropriate information and handoff can differ by property, service, and operating hours.
